Built for the classroom
Students can record in parallel during class, giving you a controlled oral check without scheduling individual vivas. They can also complete eVivas remotely when additional evidence is appropriate. Either way, you collect a structured set of oral-defence recordings to review when it makes sense for you.
Create up to five shared or individual questions. Set the preparation and recording time for each, and add an image, screenshot or text reference when useful.
Each student receives a unique link to their own eViva. There’s no account, password or software to install. Students check their camera and microphone, then record directly in the browser.
You control the preparation and recording time. When preparation time ends, recording begins automatically and runs once, with no re-recording. Relevant session events are logged for review.

Sign in with Google and recordings save directly to the connected Google Drive. Sign in with Microsoft and they save directly to the connected OneDrive. eViva keeps no separate copy, and the recordings remain in that account if you stop using the service.
When staff use institution-managed accounts, recordings remain within the school’s existing cloud environment and are governed by its access, retention and deletion policies.
